Russell Watson	Joint Branch Board Chairman
	Russell Watson joined Northumbria Police in 1979 and has been involved with Northumbria Police Federation since 2001, when he was elected local representative for Ops Support. Russell went on to be appointed Chairman of the Constables’ Branch Board in 2004 and Chairman of the Joint Branch Board on 1 August 2006. As Chairman of the Federation, Russell is the Discipline Leader and Media Contact.  He is also responsible for Health Management and Welfare and Efficienty issues.
Alan Harding	Joint Branch Board Secretary
	Alan Harding joined Northumbria Police in November 1976 and has been involved with Northumbria Police Federation for the last 10 years. Having first been elected Constables’ representative for Northumberland in 1996, Alan went on to be elected Assistant Secretary of the Joint Branch Board in 2004, taking over his current role as JBB Secretary in 2006.   He is also Secretary of the Constables’ Branch Board. Alan’s many specialisms include Discipline, Health & Safety, Employment Issues as well as Criminal Injury, Civil and DSS Claims. Alan can be contacted at the Federation Office on 01661 868895.
